What barriers do women face in achieving workplace equality?

In today’s episode, we look at Women's Equality Day, observed on August 26th in the United States to commemorate the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which granted women the right to vote. The amendment was certified in August 1920, after a long and hard-fought struggle known as the women's suffrage movement.
With guest speakers, Diane Eshleman, Sarah Brennan, and Lina Pinilla, we explore some of the difficulties people face and how to embody our value of ‘Be Direct’.

In this exclusive podcast episode, we discuss some of the difficulties that refugees face when forced to leave behind their homes and we hear of the personal experiences of one of our colleagues, Nael Almajzoub, who moved to the UK after having to leave his home and family due to the conflict in Syria. We look at ways we can work together and embody our values of ‘be kind’ and ‘be courageous’ as we discuss the actions that can be taken by societies, organisations and individuals to help ease the plight of refugees.
